Rank Upgrades
One of our aims as a guild is to make it as easy as possible for you to get a rank
upgrade. Getting a rank upgrade within the guild basically couldn't be much easier since
there are such a wide range of things that you can do to get your rank upgraded!
What the ranks are:
- Tenderfoot - starting rank
- Halfway - 1 thing
- Virtuoso - 2 things
- Ancient - been on the council or donated a large sum of neopoints
Things that will earn you a rank upgrade:
- Adopting a pet (*) (**)
- Donate NP or items to the guild (**)
- Make a certain number of posts on the message board (***)
- Fill out your member profile, rank upgraded when profile is added (**)
- An accumulated donation of 10,000np (****)
(*) You need to apply/let ladee_sarah know by neomailing her
(**) Doing this will only raise your rank one time
(***) Different number of posts required for each rank upgrade
(****) Rank upgrade straight to Ancient
Council positions:
- Frantic Faerie - V council (rotation)
- Toasted Truffle - IV council (rotation)
- Mental Matriach* - III council (rotation)
- Number 2 - II council (rotation)
- Evil Mastermind - ladee_sarah (guild leader)
*I know that it should be 'matriarch' but there aren't enough characters to add the extra 'r'
Council Rotations / How Guild Council is chosen:
To get onto the council you need to be helpful and active within the guild. There is no
one definition or 'helpful' or 'active', both terms are quite open to interpretation. If
you want a good starting place for definitions of those two words I recommend a
dictionary!
Each fortnight (two weeks) guild members are invited to
vote for the members whom they think have been the most active and helpful over those
two weeks AND for a member whom they think should become the Member Spotlight. The
votes are then tallied and the members with the most votes are rotated onto the council.
Any members who are rotated off the council go to the rank of Ancient, which is
reserved for ex-council members and members who've donated large amounts of neopoints and
items.
If you're still confused about how it works neomail a council
member, they'll be happy to explain it to you. Make sure you mention
that you've read this page so that you don't get referred back again.
